I
was born in Seattle, Washington. My mom and dad were
both in the ministry. I don't recall much of Seattle,
as we left that city when I was very little. We then
moved to Spokane where my father pastored a small
church. I remember that every week my parents would hold
street meetings downtown. Sometime during that period,
my grandmother gave me a little plastic toy trombone.
Your
Mind: The Real Battlezone
By:
Shawn Driscoll
In
today's world, the battle for your attention
and your focus is at an all time high. There
are several wars that are constantly
being fought in that grey area between our ears.
You might say that rockets are being
fired at machinegun speeds that are "imaginations
exalting themselves against the true knowledge of God".
Fear based strategies of darkness are continually
launched into our eyes and ears and then into
the war zone of our mind.

If you remember the days when
a computer was as big as a compact car and "Surfing" was
something you did on family vacations you may need
to brush up on your computer savvy. Welcome to 2003
where computers are everywhere and inside everything
from cell phones to cars and most importantly our children's
bedrooms.
